Why I Stand Out?
Knowing the capabilities and limitations of CSS and HTML means you can design with precision.
I won't overestimate what’s possible and will also avoid falling back on complex workarounds.
Still not convinced?
Give me 3 more minutes to convince you.
Let me show you how my skills set me apart from the others
Let's dive into the journey map of each of the characters who are designers working in a firm and on the same position
Madhu -> (that's me), a Designer who knows how to code
Don, a Designer
Both read the user story, considered questions, assumptions, and impacts and discussed them with the product owner.
Madhu can create user stories, epics, and features, as she has experience in Azure DevOps.
1 - 0
Don will rely on the product owner to create user story and goes back and forth if it doesn’t convey his vision
Madhu minimizes the workload of product owners and reduces dependency
by creating user stories herself.
Designing and Iterations
She will analyze the production data using SQL to identify edge cases and negative scenarios.
2 - 0
Don doesn’t know coding, so he either relies on developers or skips this part.
Madhu starts designing with confidence, whereas Don works based on assumptions or faces delays due to his dependency on the developer.
3 - 1
Both of them start designing with the existing design system.
Dev refinement Meeting
4 - 1
Madhu can speak their language, whereas Don struggles to respond when they use the trump word, 'feasibility.'
Side note: Developers thinks they’re God, so to convince them is really hard, I know this well because I’ve been a develoepr
Dev refinement Meeting
5- 1
Madhu can anticipate to an extent the potential implementation challenges reducing ambiguity and post handoff Can directly tweak minor design elements in the code. whereas don will have limited involvement.
